MP (4) 1 Wall’s Daliyhaa Master Craftsman, nearly seven months homebred tri, immaculately presented, sound temperament demonstrated by mature performance. Pleasing head for age, good dark eye, intelligent alert expression, good ears, good neck into very good shoulder, strong well boned legs, tidy feet, good body covered in harsh textured black coat, good length of back, good croup, tail reaching well below hocks, well developed thigh muscles, won this class on his very workmanlike movement, good side extension. BPD; 2 Tipper’s Tiganlea Top-Notch, homebred s/w, slightly younger than1, not as forward, very attractive young man presented in best of order, most delightful eye and expression, good ears, pleasing body shape, good shoulder and bone, in good coat for age, makes the best of himself standing, good rear action, needs to tighten up in front. Good temperament; 3 Lockyer’s Very Special Silvestre at Gataj (imp Belgium), well presented s/w completing trio of promising babes. P (2) 1 Llewellyn’s Avonfair Spellbound with Salsina, attractive s/w just turned nine months, beautifully presented in good coat, lovely clean head, good ears and skull, sweet dark eyes, alert, attentive expression, very good shoulder and length of back, sound temperament, needs to tighten up on movement but in early stages of development, well handled, promising; 2 Shorten’s Thistlewings Andromeda, eight months s/w, up from 4th in MP, well presented, nice expression, good overall shape, ears a little heavy, good temperament, needs to tighten up all round on movement. J (7) 1 Jones’ Ingledene Polar Express to Erjon, 15 month b/m of most attractive colour, beautifully presented in full coat covering well developed body, pleasing head properties, very good back skull and ear carriage, good dark eye, intelligent expression, very good shoulder and overall conformation, strong legs, tight feet, good length of back, in very fit condition, impressive mover; 2 Blaikie’s Kourika You’ll Do For Me, homebred tri born on same day as 1, pleasing head, good dark eye, sweet but masculine expression, good skull and ear carriage, sound mover, good temperament; 3 Brooker’s Corisian Parisian Magic. M (1) 1 Shorten’s Thistlewings Andromeda. N (2) 1 Llewellyn’s Avonfair Spellbound with Salsina; 2 Shorten’s Thistlewings Andromeda. G (3) 1 Lockyer’s Gataj Out Of The Woods JW, I was very taken by this excellently presented homebred s/w, in full coat covering very good body shape, most delightful eye and expression, clean head, excellent ears, good neck into very good shoulder, well boned legs, neat feet, good overall conformation, strong rear, comfortable on move, sound temperament. Seriously considered for RCC, should make up; 2 Brooker’s Corisian Parisian Magic, up from 3rd in J, homebred s/w of 17 months, excellent presentation, pleasing, head, eye and expression, very good ears, good neck and shoulder, good body shape, lovely temperament, moved soundly; 3 Taylor’s Thistlewing Fire Dancer at Bryany. PG (1) Houlihan’s Kourika Frosted Ice, 3yo b/m who at first seemed a wee bit unsure of himself but soon stood his ground, nicely presented in good coat of correct texture covering well developed body, pleasing head to handle, very good ears, attractive eye and expression, good tan markings on head, sound mover, good side extension. L (3) 1 Turner’s Paulara No Where Man, homebred tri of great character, beautiful head, eye and attentive expression, good stop and muzzle, skull, ever-alert ears, presented in good coat of correct texture covering good body, well constructed throughout, pleasing overall make and shape, well handled and animated on move; 2 Watt’s Culbrae Red Again, homebred s/w of 5 years, immaculately presented in good coat of correct texture, good eye, sweet but masculine expression, very good ears, lovely temperament, moved out well; 3 Wilmarana Out Of The Blue for Cathbri. O (9,4a) 1 McCarte’s homebred s/s/w rising three years, beautifully presented in full coat of correct texture, most pleasing head, eye and expression, ever alert ears, intelligent dog who knows the name of the game, so responsive to handler. Saw him as a puppy, thought then he had bright future, now developed into the champion he has become. Very good shoulder, good depth of chest, spring of rib, length of back, strong in loin, not overdone anywhere, strong well-boned legs, tight feet, moves with animation and confidence, sound, good side extension, well handled to DCC, RBOB & BOS, but more importantly, to his title. Congratulations; 2 Blaikie’s Kourika King Pin, homebred b/m rising three years, threw any chances he had by unsure handling by his unwell handler, only his footsure movement earned him his place and RDCC over the quality 3rd who, on the day, disappointed on the move. This merle has very pleasing head, good dark eye, endearing expression, good stop, ears, good neck into well laid shoulder, good length of back, got on with the job in hand despite having to do it virtually on his own; 3 Lockyer’s Ch Gataj Struck By Lightning, class homebred s/w who must have been struck by something because, on the day, he failed to put in a challenging performance on the move. No problem with anything else, excellently presented in good coat covering fit body of good make and shape, most pleasing head, eye and expression, head a delight to handle, super temperament. Every dog has an off day, he’ll bounce back. V (3,1a) 1 Blaikie’s Ch Willowdene Double Or Quits at Wassail, almost 11yo tri, excellent specimen, moves with such conviction, quality head, good eye and expression, good stop, skull and ears, strong legs, excellent feet, very good attitude, coped well under his unwell handler; 2 Steven’s Cariadhaf Crazy Dream, excellently presented s/w rising eight, good harsh coat, not a hair out of place, pleasing head, good dark eye and expression, lovely calm temperament, strong legs, pasterns and feet, moved well, good animation, very sound.
